· April 1st - I was named as an All Conference 1st team player, State Academic Honoroable Mention, and a 2nd Team All State player.

· March 9th - I was selected for Colorado’s top all star game called  “THE SHOW”.  The game is at 1:30pm on Saturday, March 28th, 2009 at the Pepsi Center. I was the only Junior selected on the girls side.

· March 9th - The league coaches selected me to the 1st Team All Continental League team.

Samantha Martin will be a High School senior (Class of 2010) this fall, most of her friends call her Sam Martin. Sam Martin plays basketball for both the Girls Chaparral High School Wolverines and the Girls Colorado Hoopsters teams. Sam Martin grew up playing basketball in Parker, Colorado and has received several awards this year including Chaparral’s Female athlete of the year, 1st team all conference in Colorado’s Continental league, and was selected to the 2009 THE SHOW all star game put on by the Denver Nuggets and the Gold Crown Foundation. Sam Martin is one of the top player’s in Colorado, and is considered a candidate for Ms. Colorado basketball title in 2010. Samantha Martin is considered one of the top women’s college basketball recruit for the class of 2010 in the state of Colorado, and around the country as well.  Sam Martin loves Colorado girls basketball and can’t wait for the next game to start. For 2009 she was named to the 2nd team all-state team again, as well as 1st team all conference.
